Since i dug into my 10s im all jazzed on them again,

I was in the same place 46 years and while i call it organized chaos my wife calls it something else, then we moved, rut ro,

Since the move i haven't located all my rc junk but come across stuff here and there and i do have a bunch of junk, i just dont remember it all, some i can tell i worked on but some i just do not have a clue, here is a motor that was in one of my junkyard rc10s, it had an old futabu esc

The case is that black looking with green hue, someone peeled the label taking care to cut out the part of the label with the timing marks, perhaps trying to hide the motor specs from competition,
But the esc has reverse and the track i haunted didnt allow reverse, hum?

The solder job looks a bit like bird droppings to me, and even on my full tilt builds i used a dean plug for the motor so its not my work, i likely got it in a bulk buy,

So any guess on the motor, i tested it and besides the esc not being adjusted it all works fine,

Now that im putzing with 10 stuff again on the electric stuff i desire run time over brutal speed and i am guessing this motor is not concerned about mpg,

Cheers
b

There are some good brushed motor threads here if you search for them..

Yokomo made motors that were available as cores for anyone in bulk. So companies bought the parts and wound their own armatures.

Reedy is one such place and the MR. Series were modified motors. The listings were all MR. Letter so, MR. S. MR. R. Etc. Each had a corresponding wind. It is probably marked on the armature if you disassemble the motor.
