A Few Of My Losi Buggies

Post by FasterLouder »

I had some spare time, so I thought I'd pull a few of my restored Losi buggies out for a few photos.
I need to finish my XX CR and my XXX BK2 needs paint, but I'll get to them, soon.
Might shoot my Losi trucks, next.
L - R: JRX2, JRX Pro, JRX Pro SE, Junior 2, XX, XX Kinwald, XX4, XX4 Worlds Edition with a heavy metal/class 8 truck body on it and my XXX Kinwald.

Thanks!
All of them have period correct motors, some have complete electronics installed.
I'll try and shoot some photos, soon.

I want to shoot my Losi trucks, next, but my Junior T needs painting and my LXT needs box art paint, it deserves it.
My dear friend Bearickster (Rick Weeks) built it, with love.
A XX retrofit transmission and other goodies are on that truck...oh, my GTX needs a body, too.
It never ends and I love it. :P

Those look really nice. Seeing the JRX2 brings back memories of when my friend and I would race. His first decent car was a JRX2 and he was a Losi guy from then on. I was an Associated guy so we always debated what was better. The JRX2 did seem to have advantages over the six gear RC10. Any way, I just got back into the hobby a few months ago and just happened to receive my first Losi car, a near mint Junior 2 covered in dust. Any way, you have a clean collection that many will envy.

It's getting there, I need an NXT and a Rally Weapon to complete the fleet.
Just scored a STD chassis for my XX CR build, stoked on that, I have a new old stock body for that car.
Think I'll paint up the Junior 2' genuine body I have, too, there's a few flaws in the current one.
I love Junior 2's and T's!

That’s a Losi timeline right there!

How is all of your gear so clean? Are you collecting new or did you just shelf them from the beginning? I have cars from when I first started but I only have a couple that clean.

I just bought them used and restored them to sit on my shelves.
They're all in as new or super close to it.
Still need a Rally Weapon and an NXT to complete the collection...DOH! I left my IFMAR Street Weapon out of that photo!
New built, never run, with Trinity goodies that include the front bulkhead.
It has a more period correct motor in it, now, too.
Interesting side by side with my World's XX-4

Oh wow!! Seriously amazing collection! You’re based in Auckland? I’ll hopefully have my XX up and running for the next AIRCCC meet. Do you have any runners?

You've got great models ,it's a pleasure for the eyes :P I'm doing currently the same at least for the JRX family (only need a Pro SE chassis to finish the line-up)

Great thread. That Jrx-2, jrx-pro, amd jr’s choice are excellent! I’d love to see body off shots!
