Packing it up. Not quitting, though.

Well I gotta pack up all my R/C stuff. We might be moving overseas for a bit. Not sure if it's a lock yet but I'm just starting to rein it all in and put it away. It's not that much stuff but to be honest, I guess I just want to whine about like a toddler and then get to the actual tedium of doing it. WHAAAAAAAAAA. My tools and R/C stuff is about all I'm really attached to both sentimentally and functionality wise. Everything else I'm considering burning rather than deal with it.

well....good luck with everything....don't get rid of stuff you don't really want to get rid of, it will all boil down to an extra couple boxes or so.....

Have to admit, it feels strange to leave my stash in a storage unit for 2 years. Gotta remember to pay the bill, lest I see the contents go for $1 on "Storage Wars". Flying out on Friday. It'll be interesting to see what I can get into around the Pyongtaek area. Been thinking about picking up a kit of some sort and build/run it with my daughter. Soon to be 5. I'll be around the forum for sure here and there though.

By the time you get back I’ll be on your east side

We are getting ready to ditch Portland and head for Twin Falls where things aren’t so volatile and quite honestly just stupid.

Not wanting to deal with international shipping, I walked into a quasi-legit hobby shop (think Nikko level RC's, random drones, Gundam robot models, card stuff, and scantily clad busty action figures, etc..) and showed the dude a picture of a Tamiya 1/12 Nissan Titan (58511). Asked him if he could order it. He takes a picture of my picture and my phone number. Says 3-4 days, I'll text you. It's been a week. I remain hopeful.......
