I wonder if my old Custom Works Dominator ended up here?

I was browsing google the other day and came across a picture of my old Dominator. I always regretted selling that car even though I thought I got pretty good money for it at the time. I'll have to dig up my photo's of the car. It was one hell of a car. I know it's too hard to tell without details of it.

I wonder if it ended up here?

Well unfortunately I can't help you locate your old car but I can certainly understand why you'd miss it so much.
I still have mine - one of Jim Deiter's cars - in fact it has the same orange wheels as yours. I've been giving serious thought to getting it running again for a little parking lot fun.
Man, those were the days - "drifting" on dirt before anyone knew what the word meant.
Can you imagine what a Dominator, running a hot modern brushless motor, would do?

Probably break another chain.

Do you happen to have any pics you can share?

Did or do you know Dieter? I ran at a couple of his local tracks in the Joliet area as a kid, and was always in awe of his driving and his cars. Him and his crew always had the trickest stuff!

I met Jim a few times at Roy's place and at other tracks and had the odd privilege of getting beat by him every time we raced.

I've been meaning to post a couple pic's of my car with the body Jim painted - nothing special about the appearance; it's a stock Dom with a simple white painted body with R&R livery. When I have a few minutes, I'll pull it from storage and upload a couple pics. That car handled perfectly everywhere I raced so I never touched any of the shock settings or ever disassembled the car. It remains just as I got it from Jim.

The thing about Jim; he always seemed to think outside the box and arrive at the track with some very unique cars.
It's been said there is a fine line between genius and insanity and Jim was able to walk that line. He's one-of-a-kind.
