Finally got around to cleaning up this beat up old yok. Looking a little better now- fresh pulleys, rear and center caps, tough belts, rebuilt diffs, Robinson spur, and some Hot Trick red g10. Still need to cut the custom upper brace, make a bumper, and round up some original battery posts. For now they are printed in white NylonG. Also need to get the wheels cleaned up, or decide if I just need new wheels. I picked up a Penguin 870c body for it as well. I’m still debating if it needs AE gold shocks

Looks very clean! What are you using to cut your G10? Also, are you getting your belts from McMaster or ?? Standard L belt??

I use a heavily modified Shapeoko 3 XL to cut. These are tough racing belts, while the numbers are out there to find them from alternate sources, most of the places with decent quality belts like SDP-si also have outrageous shipping costs or minimums to work with.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to google tough racing belts and SDP-si.

Sadly it isn’t in very good shape. The previous owner painted all the plastics. It was silver. He apparently used better paint for the lettering because it survived the soak in nitro, so I left it. Unfortunately the plastic under the paint was pretty ugly up close. If I can find a new bulkhead cap I’ll replace it and probably paint it the same way as I do like the look.

Ah that sucks. I got some 834b/ dominator wheels and tires that were haphazardly painted blue red silver and...maybe yellow? I mean wheels AND tires in one shot. Ugh. Thankfully everything survived the old acetone bath and came up ok.
