Might not be a big deal, but I restored a 30+ year old Wild Willy. The only decal I have always loved, and thought is just a part of this particular car, is the "club" suit decal. I did not have high hopes, but was able to lift this 30 year old decal, and save it from turning to dust. I really didn't think I was going to be able to re-claim it to use on the new paint job. But, I did, and it worked out awesome. Save a couple other of the vintage decals, but the "Club" was the one I was hoping to save the most. The other decals are new.

I've found that stickers from original sticker sheets are actually quite durable, certainly much moreso than water-slide decals. They can usually be removed by giving the area a good blast with a hair dryer to soften up the underlying adhesive, and gently prying up an edge with an X-Acto knife, and gently peeling it up with a tweezers. Usually it still keeps most of its adhesive. Any adhesive residue left on the original surface cleans up easily with some WD-40.

This is fantastic! I always liked the clover decal on these. How does it run?
