Graphite build opinions

Decided to build me a Graphite buggy guys so a few questions.

Which shock towers would you run F/R
Which stock shock lengths F/R
F/R arms stock aftermarket or super wide?

Transmission Choices:

Stock Stealth trans/slipper
Stock Stealth trans/HydraDrive
Stock stealth trans/No slipper
64p Stealth trans
J-Car DD
TrackMaster Belt Drive

Not looking for originality I want the best performing chassis I can build. Will be running brushless 13.5 or 17.5 with Lipo.

So if your going to build the ultimate Graphite racer how would you build it?

Thanks
Jake D.

Okay, you're asking for opinions so here goes....
I believe the Worlds car is the ultimate performer among all the original production RC10's so if I were going to build the ultimate graphite RC10 I'd start with a Worlds car and simply replace the aluminum tub with an AE graphite chassis plate. My pieced-together Worlds car is my all time favorite runner - I love to drive that car!
I would not run 64 pitch gears for durability reasons.
Just my opinion. :D

Doug so basically clean it up? Worlds car and Graphite car have the same towers arms and shock lengths?

I basically have a complete Graphite car minus transmission and shocks to work with and noted on the 64p trans will stash that one away.

Among other things, shock towers are different so I think camber link mounting holes (roll centers) and shock mounting locations are different.
Although, I haven't actually overlay-ed the shock towers from the two cars to note the shock mounting position differences. I believe it's the combination of a lot of minor changes that make the Worlds car perform better than the previous cars. As daily runners, I have an early 6-gear short-arm car, a Stealth graphite car (aftermarket chassis, Andy's arms) and a Worlds car. I run the same motors, ESC's, batteries and tires on all three cars yet I consistently run faster lap times with the Worlds.
Over the years, the guys at AE honed that blade to a very fine edge.
Again, just my opinion.

Jake, you've spark my curiosity. Someday when I'm caught up on some other projects, I'm gonna swap out a graphite chassis under my worlds car to see how it affects handling. These cars seem to respond to a little extra weight down low so I donno but it should be an interesting experiment.

Just my opinion on the transmission--- leave the trackmasters for circle track cars, leave the hydra-drives on the losi's, Stealth is always a rockstar, and you forgot some of the coolest options----the A&L Leathal Weapon belt drive and the MIP SP1. For pure cool factor my vote would be the A&L or the MIP. For bullet proof trouble free running, I would run a stealth with the newer style slipper. My graphite car has the A&L, and my track runner gold pan has the stealth with the modern slipper setup. I've abused this car with all manor of brushless power with no transmission issues at all.
