Had this old chassis from a 10t hung on the garage wall and thought what the hell let’s build another one!

Some of the bits are getting hard to come by but we will plow on and have a go!!

Chassis is going off to be vapour blasted as it’s covered in crap and old superglue and the plastics are going to be dyed black

So the plastics had a wash and a bath in the rit dye and made a start on the front end (B4 c hubs/hubs)

I’m going with a black/blue theme

Are the B4 parts a direct fit to the vintage arms? No modification required?

Thanks Joe. That's not so difficult to do. So I guess width is the same (or close enough).
I'm always looking for cheap replacement parts for my runners.

You should gain appx. 3mm per side with the B4 front 9580 Caster block 25˚. With modern wheels and tires and long front arms this should put the overall width quite close to the max 250mm width.
This would be the same setup I have on several cars.
I use the 25˚blocks to keep the 30˚ angle of the stock RC10 suspension. B4 is based on 25˚ kickup.
In other words, the hinge pin on the 9580 is perpendiculr to the axel and will impart no additional "lean" to the Rc10 suspension.

Big thanks to Brett for helping me out with the bits I’m missing for the car, can really crack on with the build now!
