Stealth Trans. Different Stock Numbers

Post by guitronics »

I was wondering: What is the difference between Stealth # 6564,and Stealth # 6565?

Does anybody know the difference?

6565 is the original style case which actually fits and works well lol. It is identified by the 4 individual spacers that go between the trans and the motor plate. Use a 6570 idler. 6564 is a pos that was developed for the rere Worlds car. It has the spacers built in and features a tight gear mesh often causing binding and roughness. Cannot be used with the 6570 idler as there are no places in the case for idler bearings. They go in the 6569 idler gear itself.
