I picked this motor up in a set of MG motors supplied to me by a successfull team Schumacher driver. He was allowed to select his own electrics and was sponsored by MG motors for '93 and '94.

He used these MG's for the Florida Winternationals at that time.

This is a 10 Single Exterminator, and the performance figures following a rebuild are just insane. I am going to have to put it onto a digital dyno as the Shinwa got totally max'd out!!

Incredible.

10x1 is crazy in the 90's... the batteries couldn't last 5mn with such a mill.

That's awesome ... look how thick the magnet wire is. Anyone remember Black Magic drag motors ? My memory is foggy, but this 10T makes me recall hearing about 6 or 8 turn motors supposedly around 100,000 RPMs. I remember my buddies talking about them like some mythical creature ... never did see one as we weren't into drag cars. But when we were young, all we cared about was RPM

That 10T would be fun with today's batteries, not sure i have a speed control that could handle it though.

I will have to check with the original team Schumacher driver and see which ESC he was using back then. I think he did tell me in the initial message exchanges relating to these motors as he was permitted to select his own electronics.

This motor, and in fact the whole set of his motors which I receiver (from 10Singles to 11Singles and one 11Triple) were all built for 4minute 7 cell races over in the US.

The windings on these are just something else. Here's a 10S and an 11S. Beautiful!

I should just add, wire thickness on these is 1.32mm

Looking over the old messages he says he used M Tronics electrics with these motors.
