20 degree B4 Caster Blocks on B3 Questions

Hey new member here but just about everything I've learned on making my rc10 buggies and trucks perform all came from this forum just wanted to say hello to everyone.
Im working on my RC10B3 team edition not factory team but close
Anyway the B3 25 degree caster blocks are too hard to find and a few have suggested getting 20 degree B4 caster blocks bec of the 5 degree kickup difference, hence with my 20 degree B4 caster blocks on my B3 (which i restored and love to drive) i can achieve 25 degrees caster.
Only problem ive run into is the steering block/arm/axle carrier vertical pin on the B3 utilizes a ballstud to screw into the top of the pin and thats what holds it in rather than an eclip.
Should i cut the horizontal mounting holes for the camber link ballstud off of the B4 blocks and utilize the vertical hinge pin mounted ballstud configuration on the B3?
