I’ve had this inferno for a couple of years now, won it very cheaply on eBay, I think it was about £58.
Included the Sirio Kanai engine.
It was dirty, but didn’t look like it had seen much action.
Decided to fully strip it, fit new bearings, CNC alloy front hubs, carbon fibre radio tray, fioroni mp7.5 front and rear shock towers and alloy chassis braces.
I managed to find a genuine IFB001 777 body shell and set about trying to reproduce Kanais 777.
With some decals from mci racing, and a great guy on eBay who made me some Futaba racing custom decals for the wing.
I’m pleased with the overall look, just need to try firing up the Sirio, though I believe they are quite tricky to tune.
Anyway, here she is

Nice looking buggy. You can never go wrong with a Kanai livery paint.

Thanks for comments levigna, that is praise coming from you having seen some of your excellent work.
The first 2 pictures show how it is now, the rest are a little older.
The 777 isn’t exactly vintage, but it provokes memories from when my son and I used to race at our local club, probably about 15 years ago. I had an inferno MP7.5 Kanai 2, and he had an X-ray xb-8. Spent hours of fun racing, and even mores hours cleaning and repairing them :D
