B stamp battery box

Is there a reason im seeing b stamp black chassis with the battery box offset from center, only 2 so far,lol but still is it a cowinky-dink or for a real reason

All A stamp, AB stamp, and Early B stamps were this way. Early 10T for example would have came with them. Later B stamp centered them up. The early chassis had them as their intent was to have the battery down the center and the speed control on the side, which didn’t make it to production.

How would the battery go in, would they be a tight fit cuz there at an angle with both boxes on either end square? Any pics to show, thanks bud
