Using RPM Rod Ends On T3

I am rebuilding a T3, and I want to add a few tasteful, era-correct upgrades while I am at it. My plan is to use RPM yellow parts as a contrast against the Factory Team blue parts. For whatever reason, however, the RPM heavy duty rod ends are too tight on the #7211 kingpin ball ends.
Has anyone else ever encountered this issue before?

They should free up, you could spin the kingpin in a drill with the ball cup on it to try and free it up.

I agree with you, and I have used that method in the past. I just find it surprising that the kingpin ball ends are not the same size (however small the actual difference may be) as all of the other ball ends. I thought that perhaps the truck had a pair of kingpin ball ends that had not been manufactured correctly, but I got the same result when I tried a different pair.

Yeah those kingpins are unique at associated. The t3 and b3 we're the only cars to use them so who know where they had them manufactured. Tolerances are probably on the high side.
