New Member / Old RC10

Greetings!
Thanks for adding me. I dug out my original RC10 (~1986) that I raced back in the day. I restored it over the summer and plan to race it at this year's Vintage Off-Road Nationals at R/C Excitement.

I took it to the VONATS. I lasted a total of 3 laps.
Broke a steering arm. Then blew the ESC capacitor....Called it a day
Enjoyed the show from the side!

Ah, I didn't realize you were on rc10talk. I was the guy who told you I found the aluminum top of your blown up cap. Hope you had a good time even with the breakage!

Welcome! I can't bear to race my handed-down-by-Dad RC10 for the fear of breaking the original parts, as you found out.
Nothing beats an RC10 for vintage cool!
At the track, my controller by FAR had the longest antenna!
