well after sorting all my old gear
I have this one last parts buggy (also found a pretty intact t2)
its pretty intact
the 6 gear is in need of a rebuild, has some broken turnbuckles , and the light gold A stamp chassis is scratched

im torn , with all the rc10 buggies I have I actually don't have a shelf queen original goldie

what do you guys think just clean her up and rebuild the tranny give her a new shell and let her live out the rest of her life on the shelf


or since she has aftermarket wheels and tires just go ahead and go all out and fully rebuild it as a tricked out runner

mabey just get a re-re chassis and some nice white andys/rpm arms and make her a true shelf queen

Run that bad boy. Then put it on a shelf. Rinse and repeat.

well tomorrow and Monday are the days my store is closed , so ill be starting something lol

I already have one hell of a runner rc10 (brushless with modified stealth with b4 slipper and 3/16 axles)

so im leaning to a shelf queen

now the question is leave her bone stock or giver her the upgrades she deserved back in the day
I did order this body and it arrived today




(that would be a question to save for the b/s/t area )

body came in and painted (not my best paint job but will look good on the shelf

ok made up my mind since I just bought a complete stealth dhawk alloy set this one is a shelfer
and ill be building a heavy duty runner asap


now for its life on the shelf what electronics should I use
here is what I have left for old school gear

I dunno, I guess I would go with the T4 and Reedy (I'm partial to both brands). I like Kyosho but I don't think I'd install a Kyosho motor in an AE car. It just seems wrong.

I'm leaning towards the reedy as well (thought I had a old mr t's modified somewhere )

im a bit more partial to the tekin lol (used to run the crap out of an old 410 back in the day )

but the novak does look a bit cleaner

Whatever you do, put the rear arm mounts on the correct sides.
