Andy's Ebay RC10 Score

Poorly listed with a few small lowsy pics. All the Andy's items are brand new including chassis. Rear hubs and arm mounts are RPM. I think the front shock tower is Andy's? Kyosho gold shocks? Clearly Litesink heat sink.
I do not recognize these front arms. They have no markings and look machined. Andy said they had prototype arms with no markings made for the World's but these are not it.
I have new front and rear bulkheads. What else do I have here? What year were these made? This steering is quite cool.

They are stock rc10 front arms, but the depressed areas have been opened up.
That's actually the longer truck chassis.

How much longer is it? I was going to make a buggy out of it. Though with how much I spent to find the missing parts, more than the whole car it will sit on my shelf. I suppose I could build a truck out of it. Was this intended to use the stock arms and one of those Monster truck conversions of the time?
What's the story on this steering, very unique for the time.

The steering is Andy's.
I think it's like 9/16 - 5/8 longer. Hold it up to any rc10 buggy, you'll see.

You are correct. Looks like it was drilled later then for Stealth transmission. Old thread I found shows 6 gear in manual for this conversion placing it at 1990. Since it is already modified I will make it a buggy. Will have to figure a body for it.
I have Andy's front castor blocks, front steering knuckles, front bulkhead, front arms, rear shock tower and battery strap. I guess I need Andy's rear hubs then and figure out a body I can make work.
Was there a rear motor guard?
I just found your old thread where you cut it for a 10T front end. I don't think I could bring myself to do it but very cool. Would be a cool WOIN build with a 10T front end.

It was a sweet body, you must have seen it on the bay. I thought it would go higher and also figured when I got it the bottom of the chassis would be shot since he had no pics.
I need to find a body that will work well, will be some trial and error.

Andy’s Renegade should be a fit, and he sells them often on eBay. You moght be able to get a clear one from him but make sure you email them so they can track the order.

Actually I will check when I get home. I forgot I have two painted ones in my stash

Ans yes, I know the drill, I text with him directly.
As to the steering, am I missing something with the flat plastic thin cover on top of rack, it just seems to flop around, not really held on other than by the pressure of the arm resting on it.

I have that steering rack on my sprint car. It's been a couple decades but I recall that I ended up CA gluing the top cover on to keep it in place. Anyway, I'm jealous - I have some Andy's parts but nothing like you have. Lucky guy!

That makes sense on the steering cap. The dominator body is too short as shown. The JRXpro (11.25" wheelase) body if not trimmed as much as this one would actaully work pretty well but I can't do it. So something similair maybe (B2 or B3 maybe?) The B6 (11.25 wheelbase) body is a bit narrow but a similair body that was 1/2" wider to clear chassis could work but not a huge fan of cab forward, especially on this.
The wheelbase is 11 5/8". Any body ideas are welcome.
