Works 91 build (replica)

Hey - I'm thinking about building a Works 91 from scratch using as many new (NIP) parts as I possibly can. I don't mind taking my time collating them all together, but wanted advice as to which I'm going to find the hardest (or impossible) to source?

Any advice and tips gratefully received.

Thanks

Almost all can be found on ebay. Going to cost a pretty penny though. Its a bit of a waiting game, but various bits get sold / traded fairly often.
Ebay and facebook. I think You guys in UK have the highest concentration of Yokomo, so finding parts close by should not be a problem. Almost all of the yok parts I buy come from over seas.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind paying the right price for good bits. Which items should I immediately grab if they come up? Which are rarest? Thanks

Given they were pretty rare distribution wise I would say collect any piece as if it were hens teeth.

The chassis and towers I think are unique. Not sure what tie rods were used but white rod ends are always a rarity and $$$.

That car I think used the 2mm belts so that is probably something to keep en eye out for as well as any slipper.

The only 2mm slipper you'll get is for the WCS and those things are probably the rarest of the Yokomo parts!
Like I said if it's a runner then you want the 3mm 92 belts and diffs then you'll need the slipper and the 92 rear hub carriers as the 91 ones had a tendency to crack that's why they beefed them up.
This is my works 92 runner with 91 towers, YZ2 wing mounts and shocks.

I have my original Works '91 chassis going spare if required. We switched it out pretty early on so it wasn't used very much. My Works '91 is still sitting as last raced.

Chassis looks to have some fairly large lightening holes cut in front. By the limited picture, they seem pretty smoothly done. Did it affect chassis flex noticeably?
