Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
I noticed this chassis kit for Traxxas Rustlers, Stampedes, and Bandits on eBay. Basically, it turns them into an SRT! Anybody have this? If I had a Stampede, Rustler, or Bandit, I'd be all over this thing..

Obtain a donor and "add to cart", then "checkout". Everything is on PAUSE in my world, so you need to do it.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

This conversion looks awesome!! i've been on the look out for a donor truck too. one thing i did want to know was, are there any differences between the original rustler (black version) or the newer VXL (grey)?

Re: Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
The gray plastics and all the new stuff looks like beefier plastic and it's kinda cheap looking too. Seems to hold up really well. The old rustler was pretty close but lots of little things that don't matter and some that do like the improved slipper, metal idler and diff gear etc that come on the vxl at least not sure about the xl5's.

Awesome, thanks for that, i agree, the grey looks cheaper, i'll hold out for a black one, but i figure if i find a cheap grey one, it could be useful for spares if needed at the track and maybe some tougher bits like you have mentioned
cheers

I had no clue what you guys were talking about so quickly over to Ebay. Very cool! Takes a car I would otherwise never notice and makes it vintage racer esque.

Yeah they are pretty convincing too! One thing that I love about Traxxas. They didn't stray too far, just have to strip back the plastics

Just shoot me a message, everything is made to order. Imo they are above the average ebayers skill level so we quit selling them there.
