I still hesitate for the title ... let see it when the car will be finished :)

To be honest, I buy this car as a chassis donor for another project, but got so many spares that I decided to do something with it.
(plus I always love to get a Yok. with RPM bulkheads)
I buy it as a Works 91', but there's so much aftermarket parts on it that is difficult to say if it's right .
I chose to keep the original "shape" and just change few things:
- arms were "drescher" in the front / YZ10 91' in the rear. It will be 4xRPM arms (and hubs); thank's to OldRC.com
- original motor mount goes on another car, so it will be a 3 pieces alu. like a team suzuki but in purple (buy it as a trinity, but I doubt they're making parts for yokomo's)
- a new body.

Of course a good cleaning job, change/rehab. some parts, screws, ballstuds/cups... was need.

Here is an overview :

Looks like a great project.

I have that same purple motor mount on my 96 Pavidis YZ10...I also have a spare new in package blue motor mount...

You plan on adding the TCS?

I have no clue who made the purple motor mount but it looks almost exactly like the blue motor mount from TOP.

To me the purple, blue and original magnesium motor mounts all work well. If you have the magnesium mount there is no reason to upgrade, if you have the aluminum mount it will work well.

Looking good so far. I think you'll find your motor mount is indeed a Team Trinity one, I've only seen a couple but it looks spot on.

Thanks for the kind word Lonestar, I have to make a 2-3 weeks break but i'll finish it faster than my other projects (3-4 years average time  ).Hopefully I could bring it to the next SIORC race  .

How I understand you rccars4sal :)
I'm searching for those arms since 2011
When in hands, they're pure beauty.
Don't know the story and time-line of rpm options for yokomo YZ10 but if they made ones as long as the original Works models; it will be my next quest.
PS: Don't kicking yourself to hard, oldrc.com got them in stock (#7540)
