Anyone else remember this? I had this when it came out. Hard to believe it was 27 years ago.

Cool find! The old Tamiya Clod buster was really something back then. All the neighborhood kids were jealous of the kid who had one.

YES, I had this book back when it came out as well! I bought it during one of our schools book fairs. I also bought another one that I now can't remember too much about. Unfortunately I threw out all of my childhood books when I moved about 5 years ago. I regret that I threw this and the other one away. I take it this book has a date of 1990 in it somewhere? I thought it was from a little earlier. The other R/C book I had might have been.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post it as it brought back a lot of fond memories.

I was thinking it was earlier myself but it has 1990 on the inside. One of the featured trucks is a traxxas sledgehammer which didn't come out until '89 or '90. I'm pretty sure I got mine at a school bookfair as well. Found this one at a garage sale and couldn't resist.

I have this book! I have a couple other ones, too. Including a beginners guide to RC Oval Racing. These books are almost like mini time machines.

I seem to remember there was a few of these, starting back in the 80's when I was in elementary school. They used to have that book order pamphlet they passed out to the students to buy these types of books for a couple bucks. If any of you guys have some of the other ones, post them up.

While I do have Radio Control Action Cars, I thought I had the same book that you posted above, but I do not. I never knew that there was More Radio Control Action Cars!

Nice. There's an old RC book from my childhood I can never find. I don't remember the title but it was a paperback and had a yellow 834b on the cover.
