Nice! Had one as a kid and drove the crap out of it. Didn't know about the frontend mod... looks good.
Weight of the car is next to nothing so I goes as a bullit. But suspensionwise it's -let's say- adventurous

Is that an original design or a copy of the team crp kit?

looks like a redesign of the CRP kit.....although the CRP kit was essentially a futaba FX10 upgrade right?
there are a few spots that are really improved to fit the hornet chassis there.

I just realised the grasshopper had a mid-moter layout... Nearly enough to tempt me.

I think it's closer to a Panda Cyclone.
Runner wheels, tires and body from an old Grasshopper I bought.

Never really thought about it that way...

I have not been goofing with RC cars for a few years but I got the itch again. I bought a new Grasshopper and built it stock. Found the Ampro YouTube channel and loved the improved front end and threw that on with a Tamiya black motor and it's a ball to bash around. Still bounces around but it's so much better with the Ampro front end. Just going to leave the pogo sticks and drive the pee out of it. I really just wanted to see how the Bru-Lines looked on it. Not running with these... maybe in some soft dirt...
Looks great! What exactly needs to be done here to run this wheel/tire config?
