Anyone picking up a B64D?

It's a bit of a mouthful for a model name but it gets the point across. I would imagine a lot of you might have Ten4 conversions so maybe not but it looks pretty good. I love my B44 - but the B64D is calling to me

I definitely will be, now that I am racing again. I like my B44.3, but it will be nice to only have to carry metric tools with me to the track

I still don't understand why the B5 had such a short life span and AE went right to the B6 platform so quickly. The B5 didn't even get a 4 wheel drive version. I wonder when we will see a SC version of this chassis? Curious why they haven't released the T6 yet as well.

Yeah, I think I will get one, probably in a few months. I love my b44.3, and my B44 before that. But that layout and geometry is what, 10+ years old? I have to think they have learned something since then

I think I might pick one up for this racing season. Our track might pick up the class since lots of local guys have 10th scale 4wd.

I just hit up Jeff to see if he will have fiberglass towers to match the B6D :D

I have my 44.3 torn down right now, thinking of sending him those, just so he has them - just in case :)

I've really been looking super hard at the 22-4, best 4wd I ever drove was a xx4, and I'm not too thrilled with how the 44.3 feels. It doesnt fit my driving style.

I havent given up on the B64D....just my eyes are straying :)

Never get or ride a XX4 at the time so when i decided to come back in the 4wd class 2 years ago,
i take a 22.4, very pleasant and easy to drive car but not as fast as XB4 (the most represented car in this class in france) even on carpet or dirt.

Allways been an AE/Yok fan (with some exceptions like the XXcr and so, more recently the 22.4)
Actually racing a B6 on carpet/turf and still using a B5M CE on dirt.
Hardly waiting the new 4wd for a year now so ready to pull the trigger on the B64 as soon as it will be available.

It looks like some touringclass hot stuff is making its way into buggy designs .
Return to somewhat shorter arms, floating servo mount, floating motor mount, carbon shock towers.
The centerdiff is something coming and going through out the history of 4wd rc cars. Maybe they've got it right this time around...

I'm really tempted, but we only run one heat of buggies at my club, followed by several heats of gt12s, touring and pan cars. I'm the only one running a 2wd buggy, so it's my b6 against a mix of associated, tamiya and Schumacher 4wds. I've just got to the point of really being able to throw it around the track and fighting for the top spot, and I'm not sure I'm ready to retire it yet! So perhaps next year when they bring out the b64d.2 😮

Those classes aren't nearly as big as 2 and 4 wheel.
