So I had the '91 Worlds on in the background at the shop today. Dude I swear at 4:02 min:sec, as Reed is making a run on Masami, the announcer says,"......Kyle Reed all over him like white on rice...."

That is nuts. Maybe we are over sensitized these days but still.....

Am I crazy?

It being a world event, it just seems a little ethnocentric if not highly coincidental and I'm sure the dude was just waiting to use it. So clever! I am sure it was totally not intended to be heard by today's ears.

I am familiar with the phrase, it just seems like a guy would get sacked for something like that these days.

If I were in that same situation the announcer would have said "He's all over him like salt on a cracker!" except for one thing... If I were in that race I would have been 2-3 laps ahead of the entire field and the announcer would say "Man, that guy's a fuggin' bad-ass and no one will ever catch him!" Then I would breakout into a Hammer dance on the driver's stand and every chick in the place would drop their panties.

At least that's how I envision things. Then again, I see most situations ending with me doing a panty-dropping Hammer dance...

Who cares? Too much political correctness these days! Good people are good people no matter what colour they are! People should be classed by their integrity and honor! NOT COLOUR.... OR COLOR! No matter how they speak... or spell!
