Direction for a CE rebuild

I've got a B-stamp CE Stealth that I'm fixin' to rebuild soon - probably for resale, because I have another one I use as a runner.
What I can't decide is whether I should basically keep it as-is as a survivor, or buff out the scratches and go a different direction...re-ano, powdercoat, etc.
The inside of the tub is pretty nice, but the bottom is quite scratched up, especially at the rear. All of the plastics and other internals are VERY dirty, but seem to be in nice condition, I think they'll be fine once I clean them up.
What's the damage limit to call something a "survivor", without it just looking like I was too lazy to do something with it? If I were buying this, I wouldn't want to pay much with the bottom looking like that...
Other than the scratches, the tub is in nice condition...no dents, bends, etc.
I dunno, maybe I'm just too picky.
It has no famous pedigree whatsoever, so there's no issue with that...

Forgot to add...the bottom of the front plate is just as bad as the rear of the tub...

I would keep it as a parts car, unless of course you have too many spare parts already.

Keep the chassis for a spare for a runner.

Cheers, Dave. :)

It seems that you ran it a lot.

I never ran this one at all. It came in a group of about 5 cars that I got a year or so ago.

I almost always cast my vote for a "survivor car" rather than a "restored car". Survivor cars tell a story. You can see their history present in the details.

Given that you plan to sell the car, I think it depends on the cost to benefit ratio. If you re-anodize or powder coat the chassis, can you recover that extra cost (on top of what you would otherwise get) in the sale?

course then chassis color is wrong among other things.

a proper restore will exceed the market value.

clean it up. replace a broken part here and there if needed and just sell it as is let the final owner put more money into it if they want.
Using a re-re chassis would not be a restoration. At best that would only be a decent (though not in my mind) rebuild.

Honestly that chassis with the scratches taken down would take a black ano well, Black oddly hides the scratches pretty well.
