Blue aluminum wheels. Any info?
Found these in a box of stuff my dad had waaaay back in the day. He can't remember anything about them other than he thought I had red ones at some point. I don't think I did but it would be nice. Anyone know who made them? I may as well build something in black and blue for them to sit on.

Anodized T&A wheels. Probably custom, never seen them done from factory.

T&A and they did make some anno'd ones. I remember seeing some NIP pix of them as we were moving threads from the old to the new board archives. I think they had red, blue, and gold ones in the picture I'm thinking of. I think Reggie schooled me on them when I asked. Mostly because I have a set of rears (or fronts
) and asked if he had any knowledge of where to find the other half of the set.

Duratrax also had 8 holes where the T&A only had 6. The anno on the duratrax is all complete where the ones on the T&A all had the edges of the holes 'cleaned' like in the pix above. All in all they are an awesome looking wheel...Quite Rad if you wanna go that farGoMachV wrote:Dang it Scr8p, forgot about the T&A Machine wheels. Duratrax were a smaller hole. The anno threw me off

Must be T&A then. He definitely bought them just like that. He never had anything custom like that. Also never let me use them and barely used them himself. A bit dusty but other than that they're great. Thanks guys!

Yep, in my opinion they are reserved for shelf duty. They don't hold up that well to the kind of abuse an average runner guy like me throws at them. I've seen guys race them but they were definitely in a bracket (or 2
) above me. And the last guy who sold me the pair I have simply stated "you can't tell how nice they look when you're flying by anyway"

Yeah I'll definitely build a car just for these. I just checked around to see if i could find some red ones. Couldn't but from the prices I saw, I wouldn't be buying them anyway lol
There are still a few boxes of stuff missing that will turn up sooner or later.
