their were either 4 ot 5 of these milled and lightened chassis made. this team chassis was drilled and milled for lightness by Kyle Reed at the factory. all of them were made a little different. iam going to make it a lxt (since i have this really cool body and those super sweet front tires), i added a lite sink motor plate w/dyra drive, mip steering setup, a mike the painted ellis skull racing lxt body and o ya, a super are pair of skinny team losi world cup special front tires. have no idea how many were made i know very very few! waiting on the rest of the parts to finish off this very cool build.

Nice, I think I have one of those chassis and it also has battery slots milled into it. Not sure if same series but clearly professionally milled The car I got it with had also sorts of customer race goodies. I have always wondered it's pedigree.

If there were only 4 or 5 of the, do we know where they were raced and by who? Hope I'm not stepping on your thread. Mine came from someone named Robert with the radio. My eBay purchase record does not go back far enough to try and contact him.

well first off anybody can drill holes in any chassis. its the mill work that makes em different. also when u buy anything from an x racer u know that your getting the real deal with a correct backstory

Agreed, that's why I said I think I have one but can't be sure. Mine was definitely milled and not a drill/Drexel job. Combined with custom machined axles it was clearly someone serious and either a good machinist or done for him.

I have a chassis laying around that looks just like yours without the milling. I've always considered it a piece of junk, but your chassis drill holes are damn near identical. Weird.
