early 90's battery connectors, help!
hi, im searching for some advice on an early 90's shelf queen project im currently building, im looking to replace the tamiya plug on the speed controller with something a bit more race spec! can anyone suggest something that was around at that time? i remember on my old cars back in the day i had long black and red connectors which were seperate pieces, cant remember what they were called tho, or find any pictures!
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sermos plugs were also known as Anderson Power Pole connectors.
Direct solder or bullets were others.

30 amp are the standard ones for that size, and would be perfectly fine. Those anderson connectors are actually a whole family of connectors that vary in size as the current goes up. I've seen them as big as your thumb for each conductor.
