Finally got a Monster Beetle (re-release)

I wanted one years ago real bad. My folks got me a JRX-Pro instead. Probably a better one anyway. But I still wanted Beetle. I thought I would be happy when I got the re-release Brat a while back, but no I wasn't. I needed the Beetle when it was announced.

But I didn't get to put it together. My fiancé wanted to put it together. Since I had already done a Brat I said ok. For me putting these together is 80% of the fun.
She had helped me put a LXT together before. She was shocked how much more difficult the Beetle was compared to the LXT. I had to do some supervising to make sure the right screws got used. But she got it done in about 24hrs.

It was perfect timing for me since I had just done a run of the Bolink Sand Scorcher bodies. So I was able to use my new Beetle chassis to show off the new bodies.
