Rising Fighter/Grasshopper 2 chassis question

For some inexplicable reason, I have taken a fancy to Grasshoppers recently. I really love the Grasshopper body and would like to mount one on a Rising Fighter that I ordered. Can I swap out the RF/Grasshopper 2 chassis for a Grasshopper/Hornet chassis and still retain the RF suspension?
The RF/G2 chassis lacks the rear holes to mount the Grasshopper body. I know I will have to use Hornet parts where the gear box mates with the chassis.
