Well over the last weekend here in Melbourne Australia we had a huge event at my local track were the top drivers are invited to race each other in whats called the invitational.
At the end off the weekend off racing there was small vintage class race between a few of the local racers and to my shock there was a bloke with a Tomy Intruder about to put it on the track, as a joke i walked up to him and said you cant race that its to good to get dirty and i offered to buy it and to my complete surprise he said ok make me an offer, at first i thought he was having a joke with me until i quickly learnt that he was serious so i made an offer and yep he accepted, on closer inspection i noticed it was brand new and he told me he had only built it for this event, and what was an even bigger surprise is it came with original box and manual and rear wing not pictured, i was a little disappointed that the body was painted in a way i wouldn't of done but i was still over the moon with my find and the comforted knowing i can buy a brand new reproduction body and that the wing which are very rare has not been touched. Any way i just thought i would share my story as normally these things never happen to me, generally i am the kind of person who if i didnt have bad luck i would have no luck LOL.
