chassis modding refinishing options

ended up buying 3 gold pans till i got one rough enough to consider hacking/repainting the tub now i cant seem to find the builds that gave me the idea in the first place anyone point me at them or want to post their modded tub/pans

yeah, his response wasn't that helpful, but your request wasn't really clear either. How did you want to mod the chassis?

Wasn't trying to be unhelpful but you were kind of vague and there are lots of ways to mod the chassis and lots of ways to refinish. You can powder coat, paint, annodize, strip and leave natural or even polish. Here is a short list to start from.

thanks mikea,sorry for being vague.
i was looking for the cut down/drilled tubs i thought ide seen a factory or team car somewhere that had been drilled and cut which i liked the look of. dont really want to start cutting down and drilling a tub unless i can copy an existing pattern done by someone who knew what they were doing.
colour wise i thought there again were team cars done in alternate colours so anychange i made would still have some sort of precedent,might just go for a colour of my own choice (probably just a tougher enamel type spray) or even a polish as shown in one of the links you posted,but if theres a std or factory option colour/cutting drilling i could replicate that would be my preferance.

You can pick up a re-re milled worlds chassis on ebay for 29 as well.

the fourth one down with the drilled chassis is the type of thing i remembered seing tho i think there was one even more heavily drilled but i cant seem to find it
