Well I got the bulkhead trimmed (not my best job so I will find another eventually and do over) and got the rear tower cut out. The speckled graphite looks awesome.

Got a little bit done this evening but not much. I plan on cutting down the chassis tommorow and getting the front and rear end mounted and maybe the transmission if my hydra shaft shows up tommorow.

Ok I have almost all parts needed to build my Kinwald worlds rc10 now minus correct rear wheels and 1/4 inch MIP cvds.

Looking at the first photo, my first thought was wow, I didn't realize how much Losi stuff it took to make an AE car work :lol: {zipping up flame-proof suit}

Hydra drive was such a cool thing at the time! Just one more thing we lost to the smooth...

I had always assumed AE just copied Composite Craft's bellcrank design and modified the post to be on top instead of the bottom for the 6037 Worlds Car. However I never knew it was primarily due to Kinwald using the CC bellcranks at the 1993 IFMAR...

I'm still not sure why the front Wide-Fives were not included in the kit.

There's so much other stuff wrong with the Worlds kit compared to his actual car the tires almost don't matter.

Nearly completed my RC10 FX-S 1993 Worlds and JMRCA Masami Style. Just a few bits missing and to be adjusted. I will prepare two versions to reflect the worlds car and the JMRCA car (Tires, a-arms etc.).

I have about a dozen of the Rere Worlds cars, and I think 6 were built from kits that I myself opened. 2 of those kits had this problem. This seemed to be more of a later production run issue, which is possibly why you didn't hear much about it....

Does anyone have pictures of Brian Kinwald's RC10T paint scheme? I'd like this to be my next project, but I haven't found any good pics on google (found one, but not detailed enough for me to recreate).

Sooooooo, when you get 3 of the kits and none of them are being built stock, you tend to have a lot of parts left over. And of course, you just have to do something with them. :lol:

Thanks guys.

I finished 2nd yesterday in the classic class with my Tamiya Manta Ray. Had a great battle for the lead, but caught the pipe with like 40-45 sec left and couldn't catch back up. I'll update that build thread later.
