Feel like slapping myself.

Where do you draw the line between determination and just plain stubborn.
I have spent a lot of time and research (aka: throwing parts at a car
). I see the answer and it has been staring me in the face since day one. I just keep telling myself to not take the easy way out.
Trying to get a RC10GT2 to 100mph while keeping its roots in mind and not going to the moon with fabrication...with a 4.09:1 transmission has been a very difficult task. I would have been done long ago and many dollars less if I had just swapped the electronics over to a RC10GT(1). It has a 2.6:1 transmission. The most ironic part of it all is that the GT1 I have on a 4600kv castle motor is too fast for our track, and at 13/66 32pitch gearing what I need is a 4.09:1 transmission instead of the 2.6:1!!!
I've gone mad and feel like slapping myself.
I don't care. I'm not changing anything. I contacted a medical robotics components supply company to custom make me gears.
