Going to start this pro race project over the holiday weekend. Gathered parts for a while now and it's time to stop looking at the bin this was sitting it . Not certain on the wheel/tire choice shown but have been wanting to use those race master slugs on something. Plans are to keep things close to that era so any suggestions on electronics are welcome. I'll post pics of the six gear that I'll build new for this once I sit down with it. Possibly talk the wife into bringing it with me on Thanksgiving to help get through another holiday . Eating turkey, throwin back cocktails and building stuff. What more could ya ask for?

Oh yes. Going to drill and hack that chassis for it . Absulutly not. I have a six gear that I will build new from individual part form and add some old school hop up's to it.

What rims are those? They look like the old prolines I need for my graphite restore with Schumacher tires I have.

Those are Race Master wheels, looked like the Prolines but very thick & heavy duty. I believe they were machined from Delrin.

Getting more done. Race master wheels looked odd on this so went with pro-line wheels. Electronics next.

Beautiful! I didn't know Proline made those wheels in chrome. They must be difficult to find. What about a motor guard, gear cover and body to finish it off?

Thanks. The chrome rear pro lines come up now and again but the fronts are not easy to locate these days. No motor guard as I used a graphite motor plate and the chassis is not drilled for one. Gear cover might be a clear parma. As for the body I'm trying to hunt down an Andys Pro Arrow. I've tried test fitting various bodies and can't find one that fits correctly.

Isn't there an Andys body that is available again? That should fit like a glove.

Andy has re-released the Renegade body.
