JRXT LRM Questions - Is it slipping?

I have 2 BRAND NEW JRXT trucks that I am in the air about keeping or selling.

I am trying to figure out the LRM transmission on one. I have installed all modern electronics, LRP brushless 17T x20 motor, LIPO, LRP Flow Works Team ESC, etc.

When I give the truck throttle it seems as if the transmission is slipping. There is a single slipper on it but I have nearly locked it down so there is no slipping. The tranny feels smooth and tight (again, brand new) but there is something slipping.

Does the LRM have a diff that might be slipping?

I also have a dual disk slipper setup and a hydra setup. But haven't swapped them. I just don't have the time with a second baby on the way.

I can provide pictures if that helps. I currently have 2 brand new complete trucks and about 4 Retrofit and/or LRM transmissions.

Just read that the plug covers a Diff adjuster screw...I'll give that a try. New to this LRM!

good to hear. since it was slipping before, keep a close eye on it from now on. Those LRM gears are pretty tough, but don't like the heat very much. be sure to run the slipper kinda on the loose side as a 'fuse'.

I'd make sure the slipper is always slipping a little. I killed my JRX gears with a 19 turn brushed motor before I put a slipper on it.

Thanks for the feedback. I only ran the truck a few laps on the carpet in the basement; haven't even charged the Lipo I bought for it!
