Greetings from Huntington Beach.
I've recent fallen down the rabbit hole of RC cars and I've been lurking and learning on this site for a couple of months now. I appreciate all the great info!
When I was young, I traded all my womp womps to the local slot car and RC shop for a sexy, new RC12e. A few years later, in my teens, I picked up new RC10. I can't imagine how long I saved for the $225 for the kit, when I was making a $1.65/hour working on a farm... I believe I ultimately sold the RC10 to buy a full scale car.
Anyhow, I've recently picked up an RC10DS (kit on an Edinger gold pan) as well as an RC10L with a bunch of spares. They're sharing time with my Slash and Rustler VXL. The funny thing is, my drag slot cars are getting much less track time now. History repeats itself I guess.
Looking forward to enjoying and participation on the site.
Thanks,
Sean
