wasn't this car posted on here? i remember seeing this before i could have swore it was on here. it must have taken forever to mate the two chassis together like that. nice mix of old and new parts, thats just freakin awesome!

its probably that one on ebay that has a gold pan, with a graphite chassis on top and bottom for support, lost the link, not sure if it ended already. must weigh a ton

The RPM W91 front end with T3 steering knuckles is sort of...

I saw that one too, it went off with no bid at 50$, if I was there at the time the auction ended I would certainly have bought it just for the Tecnacraft turnbuckles , though the chassis is pretty interesting and very well done

yeah thats it, sorry i thought i posted the link i guess it didnt show up. at 1:00 in the morning who can think, i was beat from shoveling snow and playing with my 4 year old outside. anyway i thought i saw it on here, or mabey something close to it.

I cannot help myself but I like it! The combination of black carbon and yellow/gold alloy looks quite 'retro'. Plus, the idea of doing a 'compound' chassis is not that bad although the alloy sideplates will have no effect other that giving some protection/look. The graphite chassis plate is so rigid - it does hardly flex even without the alloy thingies. And I doubt that it is that heavy!

Maybe it is a goof idea for Michael's/Siebenelch's tortured (spare) tub chassis he is scared to show because he ruined it during machining ... ... Ooops ...

new on the board, but here's my opinion.
As a racer (real cars) I like stuff that is purpose built. This looks pretty well done, but for what purpose other than to be different? I can't imagine that it is as stiff, or light as other options available, but what the hell, I could be wrong.
