Re: RC10 Carbon Talk
Need more pix to tell what kind of shape its in but it depends on what your idea of a shelfer is. My idea of a shelfer can be a run down scarred up worn out pos that has earned a shelf rest. There are others that need every piece NOS to be a shelfer so its really up to you. Can you get us pix of the bottom? Do you have the rest of the original parts like the rear shocks, bumpers, rear wheels, etc.?

Re: RC10 Carbon Talk
Like Todd said...need more pics. Especially of the bottom.
Off the bat I can spot 3 potential extra holes drilled in the chassis. Two to mount the servo like that and another one up front, in the middle of the kick-up, to mount that Raider bumper.
Both front and rear shocks aren't original. Rears you mentioned are Tamiyas, and the fronts either look like Kyosho or Duratrax.
Graphite chassis came out in 1990 and didn't have front Jellybeans wheels so I'd want to replace those on a shelfer.
Trans brace was replaced with some aluminum tubes....I'd ask to see more pics of that to see what's going on.
Last thing I notice is that either that rear camber link is covering the drive shaft or the drive shaft is missing. Again need more pics.

Re: RC10 Carbon Talk
you've got a decent bit of work to get that back into a shelf queen, but your best bet is to strip it all down and clean it up the best you can.
As it sits, you probably won't get as much as you would hope to get for it. If you clean it up, fix the broken parts, find the missing pieces, you can get a bit more, but more importantly, you get more interest because it's cleaned up and pretty.

Re: RC10 Carbon Talk
Yep...more pix of the actual vehicles you have would help a ton
It would also help you sell that thing on ebay. Like stated above. It would bring more interest and money towards your sale if it was clean and you could see what it was with more pix of the bottom, etc. Good luck with the sale.

Don't let this thread become a for sale thread. Otherwise it gets moved to Oblivion
