Orion/Reedy deal mid 1990s
What was with the Reedy/Orion deal in the mid 1990s? Why did the AE team run Orion batteries for a bit with Reedy motors when Reedy had their own batteries prior? 1995 Worlds for example? I've always wondered this and hope someone has an answer!

Re: Orion/Reedy deal mid 1990s
I remember Orion "matching" cells back in the mid 90s. Ensuring the best matched packs. Their name was something to contend with that's for sure. I would take a stab and say they did it to help sell more cars. Orion > Reedy (in 1995) and still today Orion makes some of the most amazing high discharge mini lipos out there.Tim W. wrote:What was with the Reedy/Orion deal in the mid 1990s? Back then it was more about winning then brand loyalty.
