Been lurking for a while becoming reacquainted with the original RC10. I'm wanting to begin a project this winter recreating the last RC10 I was racing in September/October 1990. I'm attaching some pics in hopes some pieces can be identified: body, arms, etc. Any info would be appreciated. The pics are of old photos so forgive the quality. I have no chassis pics, except one that's older than the others. I'd really appreciate any help identifying the graphite chassis. It pre-dates the Associated graphite chassis I know. I'm guessing that pic is circa 1987-1988.
I love to restore more than building new out the box. Its just something about bringing old forgotten RC'S back to life so when I came across someone who had this old blackfoot body and Sees Aluminum wheels with a vintage Sassy Chassis thats been...

That came out spectacular ! Well worth your effort.
Well thanks to Rick for the body and front tires, I was able to complete (well except for the tires getting cleaned up) my JRX-Pro. I'm most happy that I was able to pretty closely mimic the paint job I had on my original JRX2 back in the late 80's....

Super paint scheme! Simple and period correct. 8)
It looks like the car is going so fast that the paint is peeling off.
I first saw the Optima Mid SE in a magazine article a cousin of mine had and itt was love at first site. I was 10 or 11 years old at the time and started saving everything I had in the hopes of obtaining one some day but I never did get enough cash...

Guess I never really posted any pictures of the finished product. All parts are Kyosho with the exception of the body and wing (Marwan); maybe one day I'll find some Kyosho replacements for those as well.
First chance I've had to check out this recent purchase. Would love some of the resident experts opinion on how much on this looks stock and how much has been modified (if anything)?

Here is my old procat I purchased in 1993 in Northampton - UK. I wish to restore it.
Some parts are missing or broken, but it should run as is.
Wonder if it is a good idea to go brushless with a LIPO? I was thinking using a HobbyWing...

i ran one in a vintage series last year using a 13.5t brushless without any problems, but the procat had MMS diffs and layshaft fitted.
the lipo stick pack fitted across the chassis using the original battery straps.
So I acquired a big box of RC10 stuff from a co-worker that he said he's had for a long time. In the Box was a RC10T and a RC10GT pan chassis. Also a box of misc parts, oils, tires, etc. I've had these for about a year now and finally have gotten to...
Just snagged this from one of the guys that work at the local Hobbytown for $50! I have been wanting a white GT ever since I got rid of my original one. I plan on restoring this bad boy! Probably not going to make it all brand new, because most of...

I guess Derek never did a resto thread on this truck, but it runs incredible! It would idle for 24 hours just sitting still. I had a helluva...
