Tamiya has Moly grease, ceramic grease and ceramic HG (and more) grease.

Can someone advise when to use which one?

I read about them on the net but it seems it is all about the same...

The green stuff you're referring to is what Associated calls 'Green Slime' and is used on the internal shock seal parts for a smoother action according to them.

I personally use Aladdin Magic Lube on O-rings of any kind. From 1:1 cars, to R/C, to swimming pools and irrigation systems. It's worked well for me so far.
