Yes, understand but would like the gearbox to lock into the chassis and also be able to use the chassis brace to make sure the gearbox is solid. Still with the bearings in the idler sections the pulley is really free so getting a positive feel already.

Hello, I just stumbled across this forum. What a great place for all these vintage racers. I am just finishing off a couple of projects that I have been thinking about for a long time. Here is my 4wd RC10. Pretty basic build. I took a new built RC10...

It was an ebay auction from awhile back and I'm not sure who it was. I have been sourcing parts for the last year in order to finish or start builds and things are kind of a mess right now. If I run across another set I will let you know.
Hi
After a long layoff, I'm working on my MIP 4WD conversion. So far I have both front and rear gearboxes and the cable installed. I had to bend the front chassis braces, and now it looks like I will need to add spacers to join them to the front...

Since it is not a secret that Tamiys is going to re-re the SRBs soon and a lot of SRB guys would not mind a 4wd conversion, I think we shall try to petition one of the aftermarket manufacturers to also develop a SRB 4wd conversion kit or simply...

Didn't the SRB 4wd use a speedo cable to power the front tranny. The ones I saw looked interesting but far from something I would want to invest loads of cash in just to have a unique piece. There's lots of other cars that interest me more. Just my...
Here's another project I wanted to share with you, bought the car from a member here a long time ago and took it out for a quick cleaning and inspection yesterday. The car came with a few goodies, heaps of tires and wheels (including a pair of early...
