What kind of flat black paint do people use for the *outside* of the body, to paint in the roll cage areas? Is there a flat black paint meant to go on the outside? Or are they just using normal paint, or even the Krylon fusion plastic paint?

They don't make a "flat" black in lexan paint colors, and regular black is just semi-gloss. No?

I would paint the black on the inside of the body and use Tamiya PS-55 flat clear on the outside.

I do the same thing as Terry, but use Pactra Outlaw Black on both inside & outside. The outside paint dries to a semi-matte finish. The inside paint is just for when the outside paint gets scratched or dinged, it doesn't show as much. Using Pactra or other Lexan paint ensures a good bond with the Lexan inside & out.
