Hello from Georgia

Hello all,

I'm and old codger from Georgia, USA. I have my old RC10 from the mid '80s that has been in storage for about
three decades. After reading a bit on this forum, I think I have a paler gold pan with "A" stamped on the bottom
and a lighter "A" stamped on the top. I have the bottom of the box, which says it is a #6010 complete w/out radio.
It has ball bearings, so I must have upgraded it back then. I still have the original motor with the capacitors on it.
My plan is to get it running again on my driveway and planned back-yard track. I also have a World's Car re-re
kit on the way from Associated :D I am glad to have found this helpful forum, and look forward to joining in on the fun.

Welcome! I lived in GA for three years. I don't consider myself southern but I'll always have a soft spot for the people there.

Thanks RR, I was actually downloaded in MA, but my parental units moved to GA when I was 10 months old.

I guess one could say I was a [R]elocated [C]hangling @ [10] months.

I will need advice on my resto of the "A" RC10, and also for completing the WC re-re when it arrives.

Everyone here seems very willing to help out a newbie, which is much appreciated.

I have a new camera; I'll get some pix up soon of my antique-to-be-runner.
