build a 'hot' rail car

hey guys.
I've got some Scorpion parts, and I found a few things on Banzai and A Main that tempt me into building a Rail car to compete against Re-release gold tubs

Anyone done a modern build??
like 2.2 rims
other shocks?
gear diff from Ultima RB

etc etc

thoughts welcomed.

yeah, that is a great car Lars,
bit more then I want to tackle though
I'm thinking I might be better just buying a 2014 Scorpion, and slapping some 2.2 wheels on it.

Here's what I have so far if I go the re-build option :

Do any 2.2 wheels fit easily??
I think I'll just pickup another Re-release kit, and sell on the parts I don't need (body etc) to help keep the cost low
