First ever RC10.

Having never owned an RC10, the worlds kit seemed to be a good place to start, and I am glad I did.

Not without its problems (stiff stealth box, rubbish bearings, short top shaft and springs that rub) its an awesome car to own and drive.

The paint job is a work in progress!

Your paint job is better than most, and certainly above average for a runner/basher!

What issues are you having with the bearings?

Thank's for the paint props. It's the first time using an airbrush, usually it's just a rattle can attempt.

Three of the bearings were a little crunchy to start with, so I ran them with in the drill chuck for a while. Now they have just seized up. So now I have to figure out what is the better set to replace with, Boca, Acer etc etc.

I am pretty happy with the neon pink rit dye job for the front wheels, now I just need to find a brighter neon pink paint for the shell.

I'm surprised the front wheels took dye well since I believe they are not nylon plastic anymore, just uh... 'plastic' plastic. :)

You really can't go wrong with Avid Revolution bearings but pretty much anything made for our hobby (ABEC 3-5) will work.

For something built today, but a first timer RC10 person, it looks properly vintage. You could stick this car in a race in 1992 and it would fit right in.
