I'm just curious to see if anyone knows the manufacturer of these. They appear to be made out of aluminum and use set screws as axle pins?

Technacraft use to make titanium axles for the RC10 (#10-10...$29.95). I'm not sure who made aluminum ones...it may be a custom item. In addidtion, aluminum is a very soft material for axle/dog bone combination.
I'm sure someone here will have more information.

They could be titanium. They are extremely light, and I had a set of titanium dogbones back in the day on my 10 and I want to say they seemed heavier. It was a long time ago though.

I know nothing of these but there are those on here that do and I am sure you'll hear from them by noon tomorrow.
You got something really nice there, whatever they are. You'll get some offers guaranteed.

if you really want to know what they are made from you could always grind an inconspicuous spot with a dremel. if it throws sparks its titanium, if it dosent its aluminum. i know people are freaking out but try mabey at the end of the ball where it goes into the outdrive so you will not see it when assembled. just tap it lightly for a split second and touch it up with sand paper and polish when done.

I made a set of outdrives from aluminium and after 1 race meet they were ruined, they'd have to be titanium.

i have a set of aluminum outdrives in my truck for 3 years for weekly racing. they have like zero wear due to the use of pin cushions in the dogbone. i also have plastic ones in my losi jrx oval car that are amazing.

Considering where they came from that would be awesome if they were titanium. Especially since I got them out of the most beat up & hacked RC10 I had ever seen. The RC10 had some of the nicest parts....Composite Craft Chassis and shock towers, MIP gearbox, white Andys arms in front and one white in rear, these dog bones, and then mismatched Kyosho shocks, ziptie shock collars, half cup of hardened epoxy mixed with sand on the front and rear of the chassis, servo strap made out of piano wire, and a homemade speed control removed from its original Novak or Tekin plastic and hot glued into a homemade creation. I think the only thing untouched and pristine were the hinge pins.
