Carpet setup for 10T

I'm wondering if anyone had a setup for the 10T for carpet racing?

Shock setup in particular.

Since nobody has answered I'll chime in a little as I've run a 10T on carpet.

First thing I'd change is steering bellcranks as they'd make the biggest difference, the stock ones were useless. This would be my base set up.

Front

35 wt oil
#2 piston
Gold front spring
Middle upper tower
Outer arm
1* toe out
-2 camber

Rear

30 wt oil
#1 piston
Green spring
Inner upper tower
Outside arm
3* toe
-2* camber

Looking for a carpet base setup myself. Gold springs all around with 40wt and more upright shocks aren't cutting it. I have whatever piston came stock on the late 7001 kit. Looks like I need to pick up a piston set and try green on the rear.

Question, does the tow out on the front assist with better straight tracking or does it assist in better cornering? How about ride height, lower the better?

1* toe out increases turn in and technically should reduce straight line stability over toe in, but I personally find it makes the car more stable and predictable than toe in, for offroad anyways.

Going too low and you reduce the effectiveness of your suspension geometry. Dogbones/ Arms level is about as low as you'd want to go, maybe just a touch lower if the track is smooth and gripped up.

Interesting you mention the tow out having better overall stability. I was messing around with my 10T adjusting steering trim going forward and backward to check straight line tracking and it actually tracked straighter in reverse with the rear tire tow in mimicking tow out while in reverse. Seems counterintuitive, but I definitely want to try a degree of tow-out on the front now.

Has anyone tried making a rear sway bar work with the Truck?

I haven't tried personally but wouldn't think it would be too hard to adapt one. Might compromise arm strength though if you drilled it for a ball stud.
