FWIW, i have an old tower catalog from 2000, and it's in there for $169.99.

I think it was an MR4BC with truck wheels and body. Pretty rare for sure!

Yep spot on Tom same rolling chassis as the MR4-BC they even share the same manual, only difference being the shell, Wheels & Tyres and it used an MR4 body mount set on the rear and the MR4-MT single front body mount. All parts are still available but the shells are discontinued so it's just what Yokomo have in stock. Very rare to find one NIB or new built as i don't think they were big sellers back then so not many about i guess

cool, there is a guy that comes to birdsboro and runs a hpi rs-4mt in the trucks class. he took out the front dogbones and the front belt so he can be legal in 2wd stock. his must be a pro version it has carbon fiber evrything and it is a very well balanced truck and gets around the oval pretty well. i never saw one in person until he showed up with it, very nice truck.

I knew the HPI-MT (used the rear axles on my ultima truck with RC10T arms) but the Yok was unknown to me till I discovered it in the old Keil site ad. I really wonder how many were sold.

Really a pitty 4wd got banned for stadium truck class racing.
I made a 4wd stadium truck once: using lazer arms and optima mid carriers on the mid-chassis. It was awesome fun but the middle gear was to weak for jumping and got shaven.
Before I got it replaced (alreadyhard to find then) 4WD was officially banned.
